RPA Process Review and Quote
RPA PROCESS REVIEW AND QUOTE
To assist with determining whether an existing business process is suitable for automation with RPA, Ether Solutions provide a Process Review service.
Ether Solutions work with organisation staff to examine the current business process, including how it is operated, discover metrics about its usage, the knowledge required to perform the activity, etc.
By using Ether Solutions knowledge of RPA, the Review will determine the best way to implement RPA for either parts of the process or the whole process and identify the areas where benefits will be achieved.
A great way to start the review is to provide a video of the process being performed. This will be used in our discussion with you and enable a quote for the creation of an RPA software robot to be produced.
Please contact us to arrange for Ether Solutions to conduct a “Process Review” with you on your business process.
To start a process review yourself, please see “How to Select a Process for Automation“
What is a Process?
It is a fundamental question. A Process is a collection of tasks or activities that deliver a specific business outcome.
Processes can be defined at different levels. Such as “Accounts Receivable” which is made up of many other smaller processes such as “Invoice creation and sending”, “Creating and sending customer Statements”, “Recognising and attributing payments”, etc.
In the context of automation, a process is a collection of tasks that an individual will perform.
Each process may get performed many times and by many individuals.
There is only going to be significant benefits from automation if a process is executed many times.
The automation is going to replace the manual activities which a person performs on a computer, with an RPA software robot performing the same activities.
The existing software systems will not know if it is a person performing the activities or an RPA software robot. For this reason, an RPA implementation is described as “Non-Intrusive” for the existing IT systems.
